Canine Companions for Independence

Canine Companions for Independence (CCI) provides highly-trained assistance dogs for children and adults with disabilities, free of charge. CCI is the largest non-profit provider of assistance dogs, and is recognized worldwide for the excellence of its dogs. Ross Burnett and his family have worked with CCI for several years. They recently volunteered as “puppy raisers” and volunteered their home and time to provide socialization and obedience training for a CCI dog.

KaeMe seeks to build loving families, one child at a time. Based in Ghana, it is the vision of KaeMe to help every child in an orphanage to find a healthy, loving family. KaeMe seeks first to reunite children with extended families, wherever possible. They also facilitate fostering or adoption when reunification is not possible. Ross Burnett has provided contributions to KaeMe that help make their organization possible.

Benefit Concerts

Ross Burnett volunteers his services to perform as a solo guitarist, and with a guitar vocal group, at a variety of charitable events. Some of the events were sponsored by the following charitable groups: American Heart Association, Solana Beach Historical Society, Opportunity Village of Las Vegas and Friends of Disabled Citizens of San Diego.
